Accessories for Effective Stripping |
 A high quality pull scraper (one pulled toward you not pushed away from you) is essential with the Speedheater Infrared Paint Remover. Traditional putty knives are NOT recommended. Heating the paint will soften the paint, then it is up to a quality paint scraping tool to get it off. Most paint on the surface will require a little elbow grease when scraping. Excellent for various trim, contoured edges etc. You will find it very helpful to have a variety of shapes in one blade when working on doors, windows and trim. | Clapboard Paint Scraper |
This Swedish hardened scraper with an upgraded and long ergonomic allows you to scrape the edge under a clapboard at the same time (with the shorter blade edge) as when scraping the flat clapboard beneath it with the longer blade edges. The edges are slightly curved to accommodate the uneven surfaces you may encounter on old clapboards. Longtime painters have tested and recommended this tool for siding.
