We offer the Speedheater Infrared (IR) Paint Remover for rent. For those of you considering purchasing the Speedheater Infrared Paint Remover, renting is an excellent way to see if it will be effective for your projects. Read below about discounts that apply. Please call the Eco-Strip office at (703) 476-6222 to make arrangements. Rental orders cannot be placed on this web site.
Cost per day: $24.00 - minimum of 3 days ($72). Used and new rental units are shipped out to customers. You are not charged for the days the tool is in transit. A deposit for the full value of the unit, $499, is charged to the customer's credit card. When the unit is returned, it is checked for damage and for return of all manuals and the support bar. Customers may be charged for damage or missing manuals. The UPS shipping records are then used to confirm how many actual days the unit was at the customer's site. The fee for the total number of days is deducted from the customer's deposit. The remaining unused deposit is then credited back to the customer's credit card account and a credit memo sent to the customer. The tool is inspected prior to being shipped to the customer to make sure it is in working order. If you find the tool damaged when it arrives, please contact us immediately. When the tool is returned, we will again inspect it to make sure that the tool is not returned damaged. Tools that have been damaged will be repaired, and the expense charged to the customer. If a rental tool is returned with broken infrared bulbs, a $100 replacement cost will be charged to the customer. If this scenario occurs, we will contact you as soon as possible. Please return the tool, support bar, case, and instructions in the packaging in which they were received. Insure them for $500 and send it UPS GROUND. Purchasing a RENTAL UNIT: To avoid unnecessary returns and shipping costs, customers have the option of purchasing the units which they have rented and tested. Should a customer choose to keep a rental unit and it was already used when rented, the customer should call Eco-Strip for a price at 703-476-6222. The reduced price of the used unit will depend on the condition of the unit and the number of times it has been previously rented. Rental fees already paid by the customer will be included in the negotiated price. The final cost to purchase the unit will be charged to the customer’s credit card. Should a customer request a new unit as a rental unit and then decide to purchase the new unit, the rental fee will be considered part of the purchase and the remaining $427 from the current $499 price will be charged to the customer’s credit card.
